Base pay range

$143,000.00/yr - $286,000.00/yr

Position Summary

The Director of Ecommerce Operations will lead innovation in Product Detail Page (PDP) strategies, including generative AI (genAI) initiatives to optimize PDP operations, user-generated content, immersive visual experiences, and content quality. This role requires a strategic leader with deep ecommerce expertise, a passion for innovation, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PDP innovations team to develop strategies that enhance the digital member experience and improve associate operations.
• Oversee genAI projects to streamline PDP processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Drive initiatives to increase user-generated content to boost engagement and trust.
• Implement immersive visual experiences to create interactive shopping environments that increase engagement and sales.
• Maintain high standards for PDP content quality, accuracy, and relevance.
• Collaborate with Product Management, engineering, and business partners to align PDP strategies with business goals.
• Monitor KPIs to evaluate the success of PDP initiatives and inform decisions.
• Stay updated on industry trends to continually improve PDP operations and customer experience.
• Manage the PDP enhancements roadmap, oversee testing, and implement new experiences into production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Proven experience in ecommerce operations, especially PDP innovation and content management.
• Strong understanding of genAI technologies and their ecommerce applications.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

Salary ranges vary by location, e.g., San Bruno, CA: $143,000 - $286,000; Bentonville, AR: $110,000 - $220,000.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelor's in management, IT, or related, plus 5 years in ecommerce or related fields. Option 2: 7 years of experience in ecommerce or related fields. 2+ years supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in ecommerce merchandising, site operations, business management, or related areas. Master's degree preferred.
