What You Will Do

  • Maintain high visibility near the front entrance and survey the outside parking areas
  • Escort employees and/or customers as requested
  • Intervene with and effectively diffuse customer conflicts
  • Inspect perimeter doors, windows and gates to ensure high levels of security
  • Monitor store environment to deter undesirable activity on the property

Requirements

  • Police Officer, Deputy, or Trooper experience or US Military Law Enforcement
  • Conflict management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in using sound judgement to manage conflict and communicate effectively under pressure
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and maintain composure in stressful environments
  • Ability to anticipate, analyze and identify opportunities
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Experience

  • Associate’s degree in criminal justice or related field
  • Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
  • AED, APR and FAC certified
