YOUR ROLE AS A TAZIKI'S SHIFT LEADER:
- Serving guests and making meaningful connections with them
- Opening & closing tasks
- Being responsible for the restaurant and the team when a manager isn't on duty
- Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear, calm directions to your team about their duties
- Mastering menu and product knowledge
- Supporting or working stations when needed (including kitchen)
- Prepping food and doing side work
- Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
- Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
- Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
- Proper food handling and storage of food products
- Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
THE IDEAL TEAM MEMBER:
- Must be 21 years of age
- Prior food service experience preferred
- Strong leadership , guest service , and verbal communication skills with guests/team members
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment , balancing multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures
- Energetic , ready to learn, loves fresh food
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Dependable , reliable, and trustworthy
ALL EMPLOYEES MUST:
- Understand and abide by all company standards and policies (provided in your handbook)
- Obtain a Food Manager's certification shortly after beginning employment
YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS/HOURS:
A typical workday at Taziki's may look like:
- Morning shift : 7am - 4pm
- Evening shift : 4pm - 10pm
- Weekends : when applicable
- Holidays : when applicable (CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas)
Hours will vary by store.
You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment, which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer, and food processor.
YOUR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
