We are seeking a management-level professional with proven leadership, design excellence, and business development expertise to join a multi-disciplinary planning, design, and engineering firm with over 68 years of enriching communities across the western United States.

This role offers the opportunity to direct complex, landmark projects while mentoring a talented team, expanding client relationships, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise staff, including daily assignments, quality control, and mentoring.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Oversee preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, proposals, and contracts.
  • Ensure design excellence and client satisfaction through every project stage.
  • Develop business opportunities, expand client networks, and strengthen industry presence through conferences, events, and proposals.
  • Drive brand recognition and financial growth through proactive leadership.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience.
  • California Landscape Architect registration (required).
  • Proven success in business development and client engagement.
  • Expertise in landscape construction documents, design principles, and construction administration.
  • Proficiency in CAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp.
  • Strong management, supervisory, and decision-making abilities.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and project financials.
  • Local San Diego experience strongly preferred.
