Piano Teacher (Independent Contractor) – Sub Position

Description:

I am looking for an experienced piano teacher to substitute for me from February 2nd, 2026 through the end of May (possibly until June 25th ) for an after-school program in Boston.

Schedule:

• Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
• 2:15 PM – 6:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience teaching piano, preferably with children and young learners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance, Piano Pedagogy, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Patient, kind, and encouraging teaching style; able to create a positive learning environment for students of all ages.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to respond promptly to emails and text messages.
• Highly punctual and reliable , consistently arriving on time for lessons.
• Must have access to a car and be able to commute independently (location is difficult to reach by public transportation).
