Pet Sitter / Dog Walker - Equipaws Pet Services Overview Equipaws Pet Services is a local, woman-owned pet sitting and dog walking company since 2011. We provide exceptional care for pets and their families and offer a flexible, independent work environment. Location and Schedule Location: Coconut Grove and surrounding areas (Miami, FL). Dog walking: typically 10 AM – 4 PM, Monday – Friday. Pet sitting: typically 7 – 9 AM and 5 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday – Sunday (visits all day as needed). Service area: Brickell to Palmetto Bay areas. Base Pay $15.00/hr - $18.00/hr Responsibilities Care for dogs and cats in their homes and neighborhoods, including walking, water, meals, treats, or medications as requested. Design and follow schedules to minimize travel time between visits (about 20 minutes or less). Engage with pets to ensure safe, positive experiences; maintain pet safety and well being during visits. Handle vacation client needs, including home care tasks like taking out trash and collecting mail. Document pet care experiences with photos for the pet parent after each visit. Collaborate with the management team; seek guidance when needed. Benefits Competitive pay and workload flexibility; tips paid in full. Qualifications Excellent pet handling skills and adaptability to dogs of varying sizes and breeds. Dependability, strong time management, and professional customer service and communication skills. Ability to work safely in urban environments and in different weather conditions. Weekend and holiday availability; holiday work may be required. Must be 18 or older; able to pass a background check and be authorized to work in the U.S. Must have a car (with insurance), email, and smartphone to work with us.
