Were currently looking for a marketing and social media intern to join our team this fall. The marketing and social media intern will support the Meyocks team in building awareness and driving new business for the agency.

Job Summary:

The Marketing & Social Media intern will support the Meyocks team in elevating the agency brand, building awareness, and driving new business for the agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Agency Marketing and New Business

• Assisting Meyocks agency brand and new business team with communications, project timelines, and deliverables.

• Conducting prospect research and analysis to inform agency marketing strategies.

• Managing and creating agency collateral.

• Proofing agency communications.

• Coordinating internal resources to ensure project deadlines are met.

• Social Media

• Assisting in the creation and scheduling of social media content for Meyocks across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn).

• Researching and proposing creative ideas for content and campaigns that align with client goals.

• Monitoring social media channels for engagement, trends, and opportunities.

• Compiling performance metrics and analytics reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.

• Additional responsibilities and supporting tasks, as necessary.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic understanding of advertising and marketing principles.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of social media analytics tools and reporting.

• Familiarity with social media platforms and tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Canva).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Experience in project management platforms (e.g., Asana) and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom) is preferred.
  

• Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

• Excellent project and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Must be a self-starter, quick learner and proactive.

Education and Experience:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience through internships, campus activities, volunteering, class work or transferable work experience.

Other Requirements:

• Internship can be virtual, in-person or a hybrid.

• Looking for intern to work at least 10 hours per week.

• Meyocks can be flexible with hours of work to accommodate class schedule.

• Available on Mondays, from 3-3:30 for a virtual weekly meeting is preferred, but not required.
