Traub Lieberman is seeking a part-time law clerk to join our team in Hawthorne, New York. The Law Clerk will provide research, drafting, and case preparation support to attorneys in the firms litigation practice. This part-time position is designed for law students seeking practical experience in litigation, with opportunities to strengthen analytical and writing skills while working alongside experienced attorneys.

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents under attorney supervision.
• Review and summarize deposition transcripts, medical records, and other case materials.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Cite-check, proofread, and edit briefs and correspondence.
• Organize and maintain case files and assist with document management.
• Perform other related tasks to support litigation teams.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited law school as a 2L or 3L student .
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills with close attention to detail.
• Demonstrated interest in litigation preferred.
• Participation in Law Review or Moot Court strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff.

• Part-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate academic commitments.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $30 per hour.
