Overview: 
Southern Integrated Solutions & Consulting (SISC) is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator with a minimum of 10 years experience in estimating, particularly within industrial, oil and gas, and municipal sectors. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Accubid Classic and demonstrate exceptional analytical and negotiation skills. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, ensuring competitive pricing, and contributing to the overall success of SISC.

• Prepare detailed and accurate costs estimates using Accubid Classic. 
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other teams members to ensure all aspects of the project are considered.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities within the estimating process and provide solutions to mitigate risks.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to validate accuracy and ensure competitive pricing.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and construction methodologies. 
• Complete job walk downs and pre-bid meetings, with travel up to 10%.
• Present estimates that provide clear and concise explanations.
• Participate in post-bid reviews and project handovers to ensure a smooth transition from estimation to execution.  

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of five (10) years experience in estimating required.
• Industrial, Oil & Gas, and Municipal sector experience preferred.
• BA in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Accubid Classic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team as needed.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
