Robert Half has a client seeking a copywriter with experience writing for HCP audiences who can help bring the brand voice to life across digital, print, and experiential channels for the Medical Products Division. You’ll craft copy that connects with audiences, builds trust, and drives action while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and business objectives. The ideal candidate combines strategic insight, storytelling excellence, and a deep understanding of HCP audiences to deliver clear, compelling and compliant communications.

 

  Responsibilities include:

  • Leverage brand identity and messaging to create channel optimized content across web, digital, social, print, video, and event communications.
  • Translate complex medical and engineering concepts into clear, engaging, audience-focused content in collaboration with design, digital and product teams.
  • Edit and refine copy from other writers and agencies, ensuring clarity, consistency and adherence to communication standards. 
  • Partner with design, digital strategy and product teams to optimize content delivery.
  • Maintain and advocate for brand voice, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Contribute to campaign strategy with fresh ideas, storytelling approaches, and creative problem-solving.
  • Balance creativity with compliance, adapting copy to meet legal, regulatory, or complex technical requirements as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Life Sciences, or related field. 
  • 5+ years copywriting experience for physician audiences.
  • Experience in medtech, pharma, or other science/technology-driven sectors.
  • A portfolio that shows conceptual range—from short, sharp headlines to long-form storytelling.
  • Please include samples that demonstrate your ability to simplify the complex and move your reader.
  • Working knowledge of SEO and digital content best practices in professional marketing. 
  • Strong editorial instincts, with a customer-first approach to clarity, tone, and brand consistency
  • Familiarity with AMA Style
