About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Data Officer (CDO) to join its dynamic team. The CDO will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of a unified data ecosystem, with a strong focus on data management, access, and driving data-driven decision-making. This includes guiding the establishment of a center of excellence for advanced data, analytics, and AI, as well as working with leaders and staff to manage organizational data priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for stewarding data strategy, implementing cloud-based data warehousing, and building robust data management and governance functions. Innovation and research excellence, particularly in the advancement of infrastructure for research and a data lake environment, will also be key areas of focus. The ideal candidate for the CDO position at the company will be a values-driven leader with a proven track record in enterprise data management, preferably within a large, complex organization such as healthcare. Strong strategic and operational management skills are essential, as is the ability to educate and advocate for the effective use of data to support an agile, fact-based organization. The role requires exceptional relationship and team-building skills, as well as the ability to lead change and bring a systems approach to problem-solving and process improvement. The CDO will be a critical partner to senior leaders, ensuring that data assets are coordinated to meet the needs of the organization and its mission.
