We are a fast-growing general contracting firm specializing in commercial and light industrial construction projects seeking a Business Optimization Analyst to drive operational efficiency across the company. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, possesses mastery of various computer software and analytical with strong problem-solving skills. They thrive in a fast-paced construction environment, can anticipate needs, and will excel in all aspects of performance improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Optimization Analyst Duties

• Analyze business processes, project performance, and company operations to identify areas for improvement.
• Work with company personnel to document workflows and improve efficiency with executive leadership oversight.
• Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to project budgets, schedules, profitability, and client satisfaction.
• Conduct operational analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Prepare dashboards and performance reports for executives and department heads.
• Lead initiatives to adopt technology, software, and systems that improve company productivity.
• Support change management and the implementation of process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Computer Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, or similar role preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Expert level proficiency in Procore (construction project management software), Excel, Microsoft Power BI and other business intelligence software.
