Description:

Who We Are

We are a growing, three-location dental group in Metro St. Louis with a shared commitment to exceptional, patient-centered care. Behind every smile we create is a team that values precision, trust, and community impact. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to keep our financial operations running smoothly, and join us in supporting the growth of our practices.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants flexible, part-time work while making a meaningful difference in a healthcare setting.

Why You'll Love Working With Us

A Values-Driven Culture

Our core values guide everything we do:

  • Patient-Centered Care: We are compassionate, attentive, and dedicated to excellence.
  • Humble & Growth-Oriented Leadership: We seek leaders who are dedicated, motivated, and eager to learn, inspiring growth in themselves and others.
  • Building Meaningful Relationships: We cultivate a culture of kindness, generosity, and cooperation, valuing genuine connections with patients and team members alike.
  • Integrity Always: We do the right thing, even when no one is watching - honesty, accountability, and respect define us.
  • Positive & Proactive Mindset: We show up with energy, enthusiasm, and productivity, making each day rewarding and fun.

You’ll be part of a group that values trust, collaboration, and growth - not just for our patients, but for our team. Your work will directly support the mission of improving lives through exceptional care, while giving you the flexibility to balance your career with your life.

Flexible Schedule

  • Part-time: 12-16 hours per week
  • Flexible hours; majority of work can be done remotely
  • On-site visits may be requested occasionally (not required if fully remote)

Competitive Compensation & Growth Opportunities

  • $24-$30 per hour, depending on experience and skills
  • Opportunity for growth within the organization as responsibilities expand

What You'll Do

Your role will be the backbone of our financial organization. Key responsibilities include:

Bookkeeping & Deposits

  • Record weekly deposits from three dental practices
  • Track and categorize income and expenses in QuickBooks Online (or similar software)
  • Maintain organized records for accountant's monthly reconciliation

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

  • Process invoices and vendor bills weekly
  • Schedule and send payments on time
  • Track recurring expenses and flag variances

Budget & Reporting

  • Update weekly budget spreadsheets with actuals vs. projections
  • Identify variances and report trends
  • Provide weekly financial summaries to leadership

Payroll (Bi-Monthly)

  • Collect and verify timesheets from all three offices
  • Process bi-monthly payroll accurately, including overtime, PTO, benefits, and deductions
  • Ensure compliance with tax withholdings and filings
  • Generate payroll reports for management review

Communication & Coordination

  • Collaborate with Practice Operations Managers and staff at each location as needed
  • Maintain smooth handoff to external accountant for reconciliations and year-end reporting
Requirements:

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper with bi-monthly payroll processing (multi-location experience a plus)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar software
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of small business accounting best practices; dental/medical office experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Trustworthy with confidential information

Ready To Apply?

If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and excited about supporting a thriving dental group, we'd love to meet you!
